Dr. Sarita Vichore

Dr. Sarita Vichore is a Ph.D. in the area of Financial Services; she completed her doctorate from South Gujarat University.
She has a dual degree in Management of Business Administration, majored in the area of Finance. She is also Masters in Commerce, and holds a degree of Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), USA. She is a member of Institute of Management Accountants United States of America.
She has over 16 years of experience of Industry and academia. She has presented research papers in various National and International conferences, She also represented DSIMS at IMRA London UK for research paper presentation.
She has publications in referred National and International Journals. More recently she was invited for a guest session on Scaling up of the business to the esteemed entrepreneurs at Kauffman Foundation Kansas USA. Her teaching interests are in the areas of corporate finance, Performance Management, Valuations and Mergers & Acquisitions. Her research interest includes Micro Finance and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Prof. Somesh Kumar Banerji

Associate Professor

Prof. Somesh Banerji has a B Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Mumbai and a PGDM from IIM Bangalore. He has more than 37 years of industry experience across industries like Automotive Components, Industrial Plastics, FMCG, Steel and Allied Products. Prior to joining DSIMS, Somesh was Chief Industry Officer and Faculty Member at IIFM Mumbai and earlier, Controller of Projects, SCM & Infrastructure – Adam Smith Institute of Management, Hyderabad. His areas of interest are Logistics, Project Management and Supply Chain Management.

Prof. Sharmila Bonnerjee

Assistant Professor, Communication Skills

Prof. Sharmila Bonnerjee is a graduate from Calcutta University with Honours in Botany, B.Sc(Hons.). She has done her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning specializing in Human Resource. She has also done her Post Graduate Diploma in Software Exports Management (GNIIT S/W Exports) from NIIT Ltd and. has over 8 years of work experience which includes both industry and teaching.

PROF. Aijaz Jafri
Assistant Professor

Aijaz has received his MS degree in the Industrial engineering department from Western Michigan University. He has done his MMS (Marketing) and BE (Production) from University of Mumbai. Aijaz Jafri has more than ten years of cross cultural and international exposure in manufacturing and industrial engineering based organization. He has been associated with US institutions in the domain of engineering and operations management. Aijaz has successfully lead a team of professional on a project involving traffic simulation modeling for Getty Villa Museum in Los Angeles. He was one of the consultants for Bank of America and Wells Fargo in the areas of productivity enhancements and effective resource allocations

Ms.Pooja Goswami

Assistant Professor

Ms. Pooja Goswami is an MMS with specialization in HR from Mumbai University(Topper of the Institute).She has qualified UGC –NET in Management. She has also completed P.G. Diploma in Labour Law and Administrative Law. She has done her M.Com & completed various NSE certifications. She has worked with Angel broking Ltd and was associated with Raychem RPG Ltd during her internship. She has around 5 years of experience. Her teaching and research areas are Performance Management, Employee engagement, Total rewards at work and work life balance. She has presented research papers in Conferences and also published papers in renowned journals. She is part of Remsons Centre for Management Research and also assists Dr. Sharad Kumar, Dean, Academic and Research in various research activities of the Institute.

Prof. Vikas Pande

Assistant Professor, Marketing

Prof. Vikas Pande holds a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from the prestigious Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. He holds Master of Management Studies (MMS) degree with marketing specialization from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS). He is pursuing Ph.D. in Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Before joining DSGS, he worked as an Assistant Professor with Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research, Mumbai.

Prof. Vikas Pande has more than 8 years of experience in Industry and Academics. He has more than 2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in Brand Management. He handled Dermatological and Neutraceutical Brands. He has more than 6 years of experience in Academics. His areas of interest include Product & Brand Management, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communication. He has interest in Pharmaceutical Research and has published papers in National and International Journals.

Prof. Vivek Sharma

Assistant Professor, Marketing

Prof. Vivek Sharma holds a Masters degree in Statistics from University of Allahabad. He also has a post-graduate degree, Master of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing from GGD University. Before joining DSGS, he worked as an Assistant Professor with Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research, Mumbai.

Prof. Vivek Sharma has 26+ years of experience in Industry and Academics. He has 15+ years of corporate experience and has worked in L&T, ING Vysya Life Insurance, HSBC & Standard Chartered Bank. He has 11+ years of experience in Academics. His areas of interest are in Consumer Behavior, Services Marketing, Sales Management & Marketing Management. His research interest includes banking and has published papers in National Journals.
