Executive Program in Management (EPM)

DSIMS offers a range of Executive Program in Management to suit the requirement of aspiring managers. These Executive Programs emphasize the practical aspects of a manager’s development, encouraging critical and innovative thinking about ‘good’ and ‘next’ practices.

The Executive Program in Management offers a critical understanding of how organizations work practices they follow. It is an ideal program for working executives who want to upgrade their current level of skills. Professionals who have taken a career break or executives starting their careers and wanting to update their concepts would also be benefitted from the program.

This case based, interactive and problem solving approach will help the student acquire analytical and managerial skills. It will equip the manager with skills and competencies which will broaden their horizon. A range of databases like HBS for cases, CMIE, EIS and corporate prowess will be used to build analytical skills; supplemented with workshops.

Increasing competition between national and international companies calls for a greater degree of ability and professionalism on the part of all managers. The Executive Program in Management will ensure that participants are able to develop both academic knowledge and practical management skills.

The Executive Program in Management (EPM) is a General Management Program designed to build Management talent of an Executive/Manager who do not have a formal education in Management. The Program is divided into three core terms andtwo optional terms.

Admission forms are available at the institute for Rs. 1000/- payable in cash.
The filled in applications will be screened and the selected candidates will be called for a personal assessment. The assessment will include an interview with our panel and/or a written essay on a general topic.Successful candidates will be invited to be a part of the program.

  • The Executive Program in Management is an 11 month General Management Program
  • The course will be delivered in three trimesters, spread across 11 months.
  • Apart from the three trimesters, students can opt for an add-on for one additional trimester and the other add on would be for International study tour
  • Each Term is supplemented by workshops in areas of Soft Skills & Image Building
  • There will be a Project work in the add-on term (if a student opts for the add-on

Trimester V International Study tour – optional (Add on)

  • One week International study tour
  • The course has been specifically designed for professionals who want to upgrade their performance and seek avenues for growth.
  • The EPM program seeks to deliver this holistic view and at the same time develop domain specific skills in the areas of Finance, Marketing and HR & Operations.
  • The three trimesters intend to convey the concepts, general management focus and the domain specialisations in a progressive way.
  • The classes would be a combination of cases, lectures and discussions.
  • Beyond the classroom, participants would also be invited to contribute in the institute events like the various guest lectures, seminars, conferences, etc.
