MMS is a two year program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. In a short time of two years, the MMS program from DSIMS has emerged as truly exceptional. On successful completion,

the student gets the MMS degree from the University of Mumbai. Our recruiters (almost 100 companies) are a testimony to our acceptance.

At DSIMS our focus is on nurturing employable managers. To do this, we have taken the University curriculum and imparted it the DSIMS touch to make it contemporary and relevant.

    APPLICATION PROCESS: (for Institute level seats.)

    • 1. The Application Form for MMS is available online on the institute’s website: www.dsims.org.in
    • 2. The student needs to fill & submit the form on DSIMS Website and pay the application fees of Rs 2000 on the DSIMS portal form.
    • 3. Submit a printout of the downloaded PDF along with the below mentioned documents.
      1. Entrance Score Card
      2. Inter-se- merit rank issued by DTE in CAT process.
      3. Graduation Mark sheet , if appearing submit last semester mark sheet.
    • 4. The form and Application fees should reach the institute within 7 days.
    • 5. Only on receipt of the form and application fees, one would be considered for admission based on Inter-se-merit rank issued by DTE.
    • 6. Submission of online admission form does not guarantee an admission to the institute.

    CODE OF CONDUCT:
    The selected candidates will have to observe the “Code of Conduct” as defined by AICTE, DTE and the Institute. A copy of the “Honor Code” of the Institute will be given to the student at the time of admission, which contains details regarding Anti Ragging and other aspects of discipline. The student will need to return the “Honor Code” to the institute duly signed by him / her.

    PROHIBITION OF RAGGING:
    Institute shall take all necessary and required measures, including but not limited to the provisions of these regulations to achieve the objectives of eliminating ragging within the institution or outside (Refer UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009)

    GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM:
    Any Grievance / Complaint should be brought to the notice of following committees of the Institute. The Members of the various committees are put up on the Institute website and Notice Board:

    The Master of Management Studies (MMS) is a flagship program of DSIMS started in 2010. It is a two- year full time management program affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and DTE (Directorate of Technical Education).

    The course curriculum for MMS has been structured by University of Mumbai. It comprises of four semesters  spread over two years. The first and second semester are common for all students, the students can choose any one out of the four customized specializations offered from third semester onwards.

    We at DSIMS offers four functional specializations namely:

    1. Finance
    2. Human Resource Management
    3. Marketing 
    4. Operations 

    The pedagogy includes Class room learning, Case study analysis, Simulations, Beyond Classroom Initiatives, leading to development of DSIMS Management graduates as humble yet progressive managers.

    In order to secure admission to two year full-time MMS course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

    1. Appeared/Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

    2. Appeared and secured positive non zero score in MAH-CET (Conducted by DTE) for Academic Year 2020-21
    or
    Appeared and secured positive non zero score in CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ / CMAT (conducted by AICTE)/ MAT (Conducted by AIMA) / XAT (Conducted by XLR)I /ATMA (Conducted by AIMS) for academic year 2020-21..

    Students of Other than Mumbai University shall have to pay Enrolment and Eligibility fees as follows
    1 Students of Universities with in Maharashtra except Mumbai University. 440.00
    2 Students of Universities outside Maharashtra 540.00

    Please Note: The fee is set by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti, a government body. The fee given above is an interim fee. Any decrease in fee will be refunded to the student. Similarly, the student has to pay the difference in fee if there is any increase.

    The Demand Draft/ Pay Order for the fees should be in favor of “Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies”, payable at Mumbai.
    In addition, you have to bear an additional expense of a laptop and a foreign immersion, which will be based on actual expenses.

    Refund of Fees:

    The refund of fees as applicable shall be made in due course. It is made clear that such application for cancellation will be considered only if the admission is confirmed by paying the prescribed tuition fee and other fees in full and by submitting the original documents. Refund shall be made after deduction of cancellation charges as shown below:
