Thought Leadership Forum IV

DSIMS organised the Thought Leadership Forum (TLF IV) on 26th September, 2015. Dr. Deepali Pant Joshi, Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India, was our thought leader who enlightened our students about “Indian Economy in the context of Financial Stability”.

Dr. Joshi emphasized the different functions of the RBI and its role of regulating and controlling financial markets, institutions and infrastructure. She also highlighted the possible endogenous and exogenous sources of financial instability. There was an effective discussion on the future plan of action to strengthen the financial health of India with pious focus on the regulation and supervision of the shadow banks, financial markets and financial inclusion.

It was an articulating session for our young learners which made them discern the arduous complexities affiliated with the Indian financial stability.
