Touge : A Marketer’s Drift 2020

The Marketing Department of DSIMS and DSGS held their Marketing Conclave Touge 2020 on Saturday, 13th March, 2021. The theme for this year was “Resilience in Marketing – The Pandemic and Post Pandemic Era”. Considering the prevailing situation, the conclave was organized on the virtual mode, via zoom Webinar.

The objective was to familiarise our students in these pandemic times the current marketing scenario and challenges. The event started with a rendition of Saraswathi Vandana and warm welcome by the convener of Touge 2021 Dr. Dhanashree Potey, faculty DSIMS. This was followed with the address by both the directors, Dr. C. Babu – Director DSIMS and Dr. Sarita Vichore – Director DSGS. The Touge committee introduced the Keynote speaker and other panellists with their career profile and contributions in their respective areas. The key note speaker and other speakers gave an excellent insight on the theme.

The event was followed by a Q & A session in which students were able to ask questions to the panellists’ regarding their mind set and doubts on the topic. The event ended up by a vote of thanks given by HOD, Marketing Dr. Chandrashekhar Kaushik. DSIMS and DSGS has seen exponential growth over the past years in terms of academic as well as non-academic activities.
