At the outset, let me welcome you to Durgadevi Saraf Global Business School (DSGS)!
The DSGS has been metamorphosed from DSIMS, keeping in mind the recent directive from AICTE, the Regulatory Authority in Higher Technical Education in India. The DSGS which took birth from the cradle of DSIMS has already been bestowed with a rich legacy of Creating Leaders for tomorrow since its inception a decade ago. Consequent to the AICTE Directive, the Institute Strategic Committee decided to establish a new Institute solely for the purpose of PGDM Curriculum. The Vision, Mission, Values and Beliefs of DSGS are in parity to DSIMS, with a focus on creating Management Professionals for a rapidly converging global economy. DSGS aspires to be a business school with global orientation, in line with the vision and mission of Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust (RSET). I am very happy to share that Durgadevi Saraf Global Business School (DSGS), with focus on globalizing the PGDM program, has already won the admiration of alumni, current students and industry, which seems to be well poised to cater to the global leadership toward the fourth industrial revolution.
The essence of business today is to understand the rapidly changing global as well as domestic business environment. DSGS imbibes this spirit in itself and also disseminates the same thinking to its students for preparing them to meet these challenges. DSGS offers Two years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) approved by AICTE. Our PGDM program with specializations in Finance, Marketing, Operations and HR goes beyond the scope of Management Education and aims to gear-up students to compete with the best in the industry.
The progressive educational values and skills imparted by the Program includes International collaboration with reputed foreign universities. For the past three years, our PGDM students have been visiting Ottawa University, Kansas, USA under Study Abroad Program of PGDM to undergo two courses offered by them for a period ranging between 4 to 8 weeks. During 2019 all the 2nd year students of PGDM program visited Germany, Switzerland and France as a part of their International Immersion.
The PGDM program of DSGS provides a complete revamp of the traditional curriculum by introducing application-based syllabus to develop the contemporary skills in demand in consultation with the industry expert to make students’ job ready. The qualitative grooming at the institute ensures holistic development of each and every student to gear them up. It is my sincere wish that Durgadevi Saraf Global Business School be ranked as one of the top management institutions in the years to come.
